It made me remember how many crazyly creative and fun challenges I’d previously experienced in my skating games. That I’ve put in those iconic skateboarding games, I can definitely express my senses of nostalgia. Their missions are reminiscent of early Tony Hawk games collect a certain number of items, find this/that, hit combos, do tricks and more. Obviously it makes the whole game to be a little more annoying. That became increasingly a headache and I always didn’t stick to my mind if I was to try to fix it. It’s putting you off your place where you are on the map, therefore you have to reverse again, so you’ll be moving forward. When you pull the camera onto a left thumb, you can jump 180 degrees. The camera is also insanely jerky, and its odd angles can be so frustrating. From now on, Everything is a different style in SkateBIRD. The minimo array of tricks gets old a little fast and within three minutes I felt like the whole range was seen. Some types of flip tricks, like kickflips and impossibles, grind, stall, and even grab your board, but due to lack of arms, you can do that by yourself but for any reason, there is a limit to the number of grabs at your disposal. As my board was stuck out on a landpath, I felt no need to move constantly but again, as I flapped my tiny wings, in no way surviving the ramp, or in no way allowing the path to the area. In the menu system everything may be adjusted, but I don’t understand why the game should even have that setting. If you’ve got a mission where one’s aim is rekindled.

You see, SkateBIRD could not seem to move slowly instead you left to blitz a full kilt in any direction. It makes for navigating each area almost impossible. You’re much lighter for one, but you don’t even push on your foot and float slightly. Playing as a bird/birb is different to the human nature. I still found it difficult to understand the physics of SkateBIRD no matter how long I played as a birb. Unfortunately, that’s where the fun stopped. After having some fun picking between who to be and who to wear, I couldn’t wait to get my claws on the board and skating. I am honest, and admit I spent a little more time on this than I want to mention. You can also dress your birbs in headwear, backpacks and shades. There is a Woodpecker, a Kookaburra, a Raven, and the list goes on. With a full personality (birb), you can pick from a large number of birds to play as. Let’s be honest: the majority of skateboarding games aren’t built by hours of dialogue, intense story and endless twists and turns. It’s a pretty simple story and didn’t hold me for too long. You play as a bird of your choice, or should I say birb, as you often call it, and you have to work with other feathery companions to find out why Big Friend, your human owner, is leaving you. That would be the new benchmark for skateboarding? Or will it fly outside a locked window & crump onto the floor, a feather shower? But now appears to be a new kid on the block, like the new title – SkateBIRD. I know that all the ages of the world breathe a collective sigh of relief knowing they are actually making Skate 4. EA has also got its name in the hat with the Skate Games.
